Cheat's Block Patchwork - Quilt As You Go with Pat Lumsdale - Saturday 6th May
SATURDAY 6th May 2017 10am - 4pm
Come and have a go at the Cheat's block with Pat, stunningly effective and simple to do! The blocks will be made on the machine and worked onto wadding and a backing, this means you are quilting each block as you stitch. These can then be assembled in the Quilt As You Go method to produce a reversible quilt. On the workshop you will complete a few blocks and will be shown how to turn them into a quilt to complete at home. (The blocks can also be used to make the sides of Pat's design for a bag, instructions for this will be available to buy on the day).
All Equipment Included
Materials Included: Wadding, white cotton backing fabric.
You will need to bring along your personal choice of fabric and matching thread for your patchwork pieced top, details will be sent out in advance of the workshop.
We spoil you with a delicious lunch, and serve you with copious amounts of Tea, coffee and Homemade delicious cake to keep you going! (all included).
