We've all admired Cathy's lovely appliqued work aprons, during this workshop you will make your own!
First you will learn how to applique and free machine with confidence, using these skills you will applique your design and sew your own apron!
*You will need to bring your fabric of choice along for the main body of the apron, but Cathy will have lots of her gorgeous fabrics for you to rummage amongst to create your applique design!
INCLUDED: Materials and equipment provided, (note that you need to bring along your own fabric for your apron) plus a lovely homemade lunch, cake and refreshments to keep you well fuelled through out the day!
Fabric Requirements - Simple Japanese Style Apron with Cross over Back and large pocket. You will need to bring 1.5 metres of 115cm wide fabric or 1.3 metres of 140cm/150cm fabric. Cotton or linens are good fabrics to use. Please prewash before the workshop and press. Please bring a matching thread.
Just to say how much I enjoyed your "Dear Emma" workshop. From the moment I arrived I knew I was going to have a great day. Sewing, learning new skills and meeting people who enjoy the same things, my idea of heaven! Great venue, very well organized and delicious food. It was a pleasure to work with Cathy, she had a great style of training, which brought out the best in everyone. I am so proud of my work and will be recommending you to all my crafty friends.
