Easy Peasy Log Cabin Foundation Piecing with Pat Lumsdale - Sunday 7th May
SUNDAY 7th May 2017 10am to 4pm
Come and have a go at the technique of foundation piecing. You will be working on Log Cabin blocks, which are made of strips of fabric around a central fabric square. Using this method, using paper as a guide, strips are placed on the paper grid and sewn from the reverse. This keeps the blocks (squares) very accurate and means assembling them into a quilt, cushion or hanging is easy peasy!
n the workshop you will complete several blocks which can be made up into a cushion, wallhanging, or start of a quilt!
All Equipment Included
Materials Included: Wadding, white cotton backing fabric.
You will need to bring along your personal choice of fabric and matching thread for your patchwork either for your cushion, quilt or wall hanging, full details and amounts will be sent out on booking.
We spoil you with a delicious lunch, and serve you with copious amounts of Tea, coffee and Homemade delicious cake to keep you going! (all included).
