Seascape Quilt Workshop with Stuart Hillard - Sunday 2nd July

Sunday 2nd July 10am - 4pm
On this workshop Stuart will teach you how to make a gorgeous Seascape/Landscape Quilt that will be the envy of your friends! This is a wall hanging quilt and can be made to pretty much any size, the one shown is approx 36" x 12". With very simple cutting and piecing you'll be amazed how easily a beautiful patchwork seascape can be created.
The finished panel can then be made into a wall hanging, picture or even a bag front. Suitable for all abilities!
All your materials are included. We have a stash of fabrics for you to use, however If you would like to co-ordinate your colour scheme and finished piece to your own personal preferences, or have some specific sea-side fabric you have been keeping just for an occasion such as this do bring it along! (If you want to bring your own do notify us and we can send you a materials list on booking).
All your equipment is provided: A rotary cutting board, 6" x 24" ruler and rotary cutter are provided as is are our super Brother sewing machines, pins, scissors and marking pencils,
We also spoil you with a delicious lunch, and serve you with copious amounts of Tea, coffee and Homemade delicious cake to keep you going! (all included).

Stuart is a professional quilt designer, maker and teacher with over 20 years experience and hundreds of quilts under his belt. More than fifty of his designs have been published in national and international magazines and he is a monthly columnist for Popular Patchwork Magazine, Essentials Magazine and Sew Magazine.
A semi finalist on the first series of The Great British Sewing Bee in 2013, global ambassador for Handi-Quilter, ambassador for Coats Crafts/Rowan/FreeSpirit Fabrics.
